MicroExploring the Welch Farm with The Dreamcatchers and the Forest Society

MicroExploring the Welch Farm with The Dreamcatchers and the Forest Society

$30.00

Tuesday May 5, 2026 – 9 am to Noon – Welch Farm Forest, Hancock

Join The Dreamcatchers and the Forest Society to explore the hidden natural secrets of the Welch Farm - a Forest Society property with interesting stories, abundant wildlife, diverse habitats, and unique charm.

We’ll take an easygoing, mindful meander of up to one mile on mainly level terrain through a landscape full of wonder at the heart of the Monadnock Region’s conserved ‘SuperSanctuary.’ Early May is a spectacular time to soak in some of the ordinary and extraordinary gifts of the natural world - flowing water, migratory songbirds, blooming wildflowers, and more.

Dave Anderson (SPNHF) will share secrets from the land, as Phil and Ignacio demonstrate intentional, nature-based practices from their new book MicroExploring the SuperSanctuary in one of the places that inspired it. Through ‘MicroExploring,’ the practice of focusing attention and intention on a smaller geographic area, and with the help of delicious Costa Rican coffee, your eyes will be opened to a heightened understanding of nature right in front of you. You’ll come away with a new appreciation for the land and its wild creatures, and you’ll learn how to take MicroExploring with you, wherever you go.

Cost: $30/pp. Signed books will be available for purchase; $5 from each book sale supports the Forest Society.  Includes complimentary Troubardour Costa Rican specialty coffee and a seasonal treat. Suitable for everyone. Questions phil@thedreamcatchers.co
