MicroExploring is not just about hiking. When summer is here, there’s no better way to enjoy the SuperSanctuary than to take to the water. You’ll beat the bugs, get closer to nature, and allow peace to enter as you seek inner calm.

On this Dreamcatchers MicroAdventure, we’re partnering with Monadnock Paddle to explore a meandering marsh near the base of Mount Monadnock. We’ll learn about the local birdlife, perhaps viewing numbers of migrating common nighthawks which peak at this time, admire interesting and beautiful wetland plants, and greet the rising moon as dusk arrives.

Bring a picnic dinner or snack and a beverage of your choice to enjoy before, during, or after the paddle on the grounds of Monadnock Paddle’s charming headquarters.

Kayaks, paddles, and pfds will be provided by Monadnock Paddle. Both beginners and experienced paddlers are welcome on this easygoing paddle.

Attendee Cancellations: Full refunds will be issued for cancellations made up to 7 days before the event. Cancellations made within 7 days of the event are non-refundable, but you are welcome to transfer your spot to a friend or family member—just send us a quick note to let us know who is coming in your place.

Weather & Rain Date: We will run this meander in light rain, so please dress for the weather. However, in the event of severe weather, thunderstorms, or conditions that make trailside brewing unsafe, we will postpone the event. We will notify all registered participants via email with a rescheduled date or full refund options.
