Written with reverence and curiosity, MicroExploring the SuperSanctuary invites readers to rediscover the extraordinary in the overlooked — to walk slowly, notice more, and fall in love with nature all over again.

Every chapter is rooted in real places, written by real explorers: local naturalists, guides, birders, writers, and dreamers. This is conservation through connection. It’s for hikers, wanderers, bikers, birders, and anyone longing to reawaken their sense of place.

We’ve poured our hearts into this project, and now we need your help to bring it into the world. Your donation directly supports the printing and production of this book — and helps us keep sharing these stories with those who need them most.

Why This Book Matters

The SuperSanctuary in southwest New Hampshire is a patchwork of conserved forests, wetlands, trails, farms, and old village roads. For decades, it has offered refuge not only to wildlife—but to those of us seeking belonging, beauty, and stillness. Living in this paradise is a privilege and it is extremely important now to help people connect to nature and the conserved landscapes that sustain us.

We are aiming to raise
at least $10,000

Print and distribute the first edition of the book

Fairly compensate the talented team working on it—including our editor, copy editor, mapmaker, proofreader, and book designers.
Offer free or discounted copies to schools, libraries, and community groups
Host local events, and guided walks
Market the book successfully so it has a strong launch.
